GoodLeaf Microgreens for the U.S. market are grown for the U.S. market. Please refer to the product packaging for applicable farm and origin information.
Ideal growing conditions make for great-tasting Microgreens. We don’t add anything to our plants—they really are that good. For example, our Kick’n Mustard Microgreens are grown from a blend of mustard seeds. Microgreens are harvested young, so they deliver the distinctive flavor and nutrients associated with the plant in a small, concentrated form.
All of our Microgreens have a Best Before date stamped on the front of the package. When properly stored in your refrigerator, they may sometimes last beyond that date.
Our 50g packages are designed to support a variety of uses. Some people may enjoy a whole package in a salad, while others may use a handful to add flavor and nutrition to sandwiches or smoothies. The number of servings will vary depending on how you use your Microgreens.
GoodLeaf is committed to food safety. Our farm is designed to be highly automated, so much so that the first person to touch our Microgreens is you when you open the package at home.
We’ve made it our mission to reduce our resource use and overall environmental impact. We compost our growing substrate and non-edible plant material, use energy-efficient LEDs, and collect, filter, and reuse 95% of our water. In addition, our indoor controlled-environment farming allows us to grow year-round and significantly increases our output per square foot compared with field-grown farming.
We grow our Microgreens using a hydroponic system. Because they are grown in a controlled indoor environment, we provide the essential nutrients they need, efficient LED lighting, appropriate temperature and humidity, and the right amount of carbon dioxide for a healthy growth cycle.
Microgreens are versatile and can be used in many different ways. You can add them to meals in their natural state to maintain their crispness, color, and flavor. Microgreens can also be incorporated into smoothies, pesto, pastas, cocktails, and other cooked dishes.
We do not allow public tours at this time. To learn more about GoodLeaf and our growing processes, you can follow us on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, or watch our videos on YouTube.
Microgreens are a delicious, nutritious, and easy way to add flavor and nutrition to almost any meal. You can use them in salads, sandwiches, wraps, or smoothies, or add them as a finishing touch to your favorite dishes. For recipe ideas, check out our Recipes page or follow us on social media.
