Maintenance support technician (Saint-Hubert, QC)

About the Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Support Technician is responsible for supporting operations by performing various maintenance tasks while collaborating with GoodLeaf’s technical team.

Responsibilities (but not limited to…):

Maintenance Tasks

Perform preventive maintenance tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or any other superior.

Carry out and support routine maintenance tasks.

Diagnose and repair machines when necessary.

Perform facility maintenance tasks (e.g., defective lighting, door hinges, etc.).

Keep records, KPIs, and all documentation up to date (e.g., spare parts register, work orders, etc.).

Ensure proper daily inventory management for spare parts, including material entries and exits.

Clean the workspace thoroughly after completing activities.

Maintain the maintenance area clean and organized.

Lead training initiatives on equipment setup.

Perform any other related tasks.

Health and Safety / Food Hygiene and Safety

Maintain a healthy and safe environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene and safety (e.g., proper use of manual and electronic tools, correct use of personal protective equipment, and other procedures considered best practices).

Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience or education is an asset
