What we are looking for

As an Industrial Millwright (Afternoon Shift) you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our facility. You will be responsible for executing preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting machinery issues, and ensuring the overall reliability of equipment critical to our production processes.

What you will be doing

  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of industrial machinery, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently to minimize production interruptions and maintain the continuous flow of operations.

  • Equipment Installation and Repair: Participate in the installation and repair of new and existing equipment, ensuring that all machinery meets safety and operational standards.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and parts usage to contribute to the development of an effective maintenance history.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to understand equipment requirements, provide technical support, and contribute to the overall improvement of the manufacturing process.

  • Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere, safeguard, and comply with the Standard Sanitization Operating Procedures, Standard Operation Procedures, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Good Manufacturing Practice at all times without exception; 

    • Follow GoodLeaf Farms Employee Practices and Food Safety Policy and Occupational Health and Safety Policy; 

    • Adhere to safety rules and regulations at all times, and without exception; 

    • Report unsafe and faulty equipment, fixtures, and processes to supervisor; 

    • Ensure equipment runs as intended and possess no risk to food safety by only use food grade lubricants

Education and Qualifications

  • Candidates must hold a valid certificate of qualification as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A or an Industrial Electrician 442A; 

  • Any other applicable Red Seal trade certification would be considered an asset; 

  • Possess practical knowledge and experience with automated equipment and PLCs; 

  • HVAC experience preferred;

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and support fellow team members; 

  • Effective communication skills, with a focus on customer service; 

  • Experience in a variety of industrial settings, preferably including a food processing operation 

  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities; 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; 

  • Strong problem-solving skills; 

  • Strong Mechanical aptitude and an ability to troubleshoot and repair

What we are looking for

The Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance leads and oversees the food safety and quality programs across multiple manufacturing facilities in Canada. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. The Director will manage a team of Quality Managers and work closely with cross-functional leaders to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

What you will be doing

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to Quality Managers and FSQA teams across all Canadian facilities.

  • Develop and implement a unified food safety and quality strategy aligned with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Foster a proactive quality culture focused on prevention, accountability, and excellence.

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all facilities comply with Canadian food safety regulations (CFIA, Health Canada), GFSI standards (e.g., SQF, BRC), and customer-specific requirements.

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of HACCP plans, GMPs, allergen controls, sanitation programs, and traceability systems.

Quality Systems & Performance

  • Standardize quality systems, documentation, and reporting across all sites.

  • Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, customer complaints, and product performance to identify trends and drive improvements.

  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to support product launches, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Development & Collaboration

  • Mentor and develop Quality Managers and site-level FSQA teams, promoting professional growth and succession planning.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies, third-party auditors, and key customers on food safety and quality matters.

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 20% travel across Canadian manufacturing sites.

What we are looking for

The Supply Chain Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of GoodLeaf’s supply chain operation nationally.  Accountability for procurement, finished goods and raw material inventory management, picking/ packing, as well as distribution & logistics.  The role will develop and implement strategies to optimize the flow of goods, ensuring efficiency, cost effectiveness, and compliance with regulations. 

A key area of focus is leading the processes for MRO (indirect) and Ingredients & packaging spend.   The Supply Chain Director will develop and lead procurement strategies to improve commercial terms, pricing and security of supply.

What we are looking for

We're seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager for our corporate team, located in Guelph, ON.  This position will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that the right products are delivered to the right location, on time and at a good cost, across our network of facilities in Canada. Expertise in fulfillment, warehouse setup, inventory management, transportation logistics, sales support and staff training/coaching will be crucial to success.  This role will not manage direct reports but rather the functions across all of our facilities where teams perform the work, and will be required to support on weekends as required. 

What you will be doing

  • Develops and manages the Cycle Count Program and Annual Inventory Count program.

  • Reviews shortages and inventory adjustments daily (tracking/monitoring positive and negative adjustments - taking corrective action to fix continuous/similar offences).

  • Creates, reviews, deploys, and develops the Inventory Control procedures (root cause and solution execution, based on inventory recaps + cycle counts)

  • Maintains a high level of inventory accuracy, by ensuring system information is accurate with physical location. 

  • Works with the customer service team to identify and rectify finished goods shortages.

  • Supports the warehouse leaders to implement warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.

  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, and security regulations in the warehouse.

  • Implements effective space allocation strategies based on inventory turnover and storage requirements.

  • Manages and maintains relationships with third party logistics partners ensuring effective coordination and timely order fulfillment.

  • Optimize delivery routes to customer destinations, working with customer service team and 3rd party freight company.

  • Resolves issues related to service deliveries, claims, directions, driver paperwork, regulations/permits.

  • Designs and leads the creation of reports that track daily shipping, receiving, freight savings and carrier on time delivery.

  • Coaches and trains warehouse workforce.

  • Contributes to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending, and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.

  • Collaborates with the sales and operations teams to put together accurate and competitive proposals for fulfillment services.

Education and Qualifications

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Warehouse and Logistics.

  • Strong business and management skills and experience in a warehouse and logistics operations environment, with a high degree of emphasis on customer service.

  • Strong ERP system experience.

  • Experience working at both strategic and operational levels.

  • Detailed understanding of supply chain methodologies and how to apply them.

What we are looking for

The Environment Health & Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment at all GoodLeaf facilities by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, policies, and procedures, company-wide and at a regulatory level. This role requires a strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, risk assessment, and accident prevention strategies to maintain compliance and foster a culture of safety.  This role will provide guidance for return-to-work and work hazard analysis in conjunction with local People (Human Resources) teams.

What you will be doing

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure facilities comply with local, provincial and federal occupational health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, WHMIS, WCB, Alberta Health, CNESST).

  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify and review hazard, risk and opportunities on an ongoing and proactive basis and ensure that appropriate follow-up actions are being implemented.

  • Safety Training & Education: Develop and deliver training programs on workplace safety, emergency response, hazardous material handling, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Incident Investigation & Reporting: Conduct incident investigations based on incident classification and liaise with engineers, management and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.

  • Safety Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits, ensuring compliance with safety policies and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including fire safety, chemical spills, and evacuation procedures.

  • Machine Safety & Ergonomics: Implement and oversee machine safety protocols, ensuring proper guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and compliance with safety standards. Conduct ergonomic assessments to enhance workplace design and minimize musculoskeletal risks.

  • Collaboration & Leadership: Work with Farm Leadership teams, People and Development Team, and employees to promote a safety-first culture and encourage proactive safety measures.

  • PPE & Equipment Safety: Ensure proper selection, use, and maintenance of safety equipment, including personal protective gear and machine guarding.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze safety performance data, trends, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of safety initiatives and report findings to senior management.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest safety trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance workplace safety programs.

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.

  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, WHMIS, local labour laws).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for risk assessment and incident investigations.

  • Expertise in Machine Safety and Ergonomics, with experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing solutions to reduce workplace injuries.

  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to influence and educate employees at all levels.

  • Solid working knowledge of food safety industry practices and standards

  • Ability to travel within Canada approximately 25% of time.

  • Certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) is an asset.

  • Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.

  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to handle emergencies and make quick, informed decisions, being mindful of impact to company reputation and liability

  • Effective organizational and project management abilities
